As the OPTIMA™ Inside Sales Director, I manage, recruit, develop, train, and lead an inside sales team to manage the acquisition and retention of clients who have purchased OPTIMA™ Services. Our Account Managers take ownership of and manage five directory sales campaigns in their first year of employment within 45 minutes of their home. They meet face to face with the owners and managers of every business located in their protected territory. Account Managers are responsible for selling print , mobile, and online advertising to these merchants by implementing the proven HomePages® Sales and Marketing Program.Each of our 50,000 customers receives an in-person call to renew their participation in our directories. Additionally, our reps identify and close a significant volume of new business. Worked with members of the Human Resources department with new hire paperwork, resume sourcing, and various other HR procedures.

My first year in this position I worked as a student caller. I contacted alumni, parents, and friends of Augustana College to request for their monetary participation in the Augustana Fund. I served as a student caller supervisor the next two years while coaching callers to maximize the amount of donor participation.

This position required me to work closely with members of the Augustana Admissions Department. I gave tours of campus, hosted overnight students, and called potential students.

This internship was the result of a grant through the State of Illinois. In this position I worked closely with the City of Moline's HR department. My tasks included learning and implementing many of the HR functions of the departments. One of my main projects was developing the city's Fire and Police Departments FaceBook recruitment pages.
