I work with the BIG Exec and Administrators to deliver and administrate events and activities for BIG - the STEM skills sharing network. The largest of these is the BIG Event in July, but also include various skills sharing days and member networking events.

leading the Science Festival programming team, provide programming expertise, generation of ideas and specialist knowledge particularly in the fields of science, engineering, public engagement, research, policy and current affairs that ensure the highest expert quality and cutting-edge programming for the Science Festival, build relationships and networks with speakers, agents, sponsors and research institutions, maintain scientific credibility and public engagement standards, whilst creating content which is accessible to the general public, be responsible for negotiating with and contracting guest speakers to the Festival, to ensure the effective operation of the Science Festival Advisory Group, and to oversee the creation of event and programme content for the festival brochure.
