As a teacher, I am passionate about growth and fulfilling potential. My journey began with playing “school” with my younger brothers in our upstairs loft, and has led me to a fulfilling career where I can combine my organizational skills, love of people, and deep yearning to learn with my desire to help others grow to reach their full potential. I love the cliche light-bulb moments, where students learn a little more about themselves and the world around them, and I believe that everyone is capable of such.Over the years, I've had the opportunity to teach in many settings. I've learned patience, fostered curiosity, and improved my time management skills. I have been inspired by my parents, friends, and teachers of my own. My experience has taught me the importance of compassion, and I strive to show sincere care to every person I teach. Though I currently teach religion classes, my track record includes Utah state licensure for secondary education science courses. I have a deep passion for Physics and Chemistry that accompanies my passion for religion. Looking ahead, I'm excited about pursuing business. This year, I'm focused on gaining experience that further solidifies the concepts learned in my Master of Business Administration. Outside of work, I enjoy playing ice hockey, writing music, and learning new things. Having dipped my toes in a variety of hobbies allows me to connect with more of my students. I'm always eager to connect with others who share a passion for teaching, learning, or people, and share insights and experiences.
