• Participate in the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan • Develop and implement quality measurement and evaluation of services • Maintain official records and documents• Build and leverage external relationships to support the fund development• Supervise and lead direct reports• Draft policies and prepare procedures to implement the organizational policies• Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of the organization

• Direct capital campaigns and other major fundraising drives• Create, implement, and grow a major gifts program including identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts• Direct the annual fund program including mailings and fundraising drives• Oversee fundraising database and tracking systems• Implement publications to support fundraising activities• Maintain gift recognition programs• Lead the implementation of the strategic fundraising plan• Prepare fundraising goals and objectives• Develop innovative recognition opportunities, materials, and events for donors

• Develop and execute overall marketing plan for the agency• Monitor and update website, social media, blog, and other outlets• Serve as the media liaison; public speaking and attending events when requested• Create and write materials for donors, interested parties, and the community• Manage event planning for the agency, with a team and volunteers, ensuring the brand is maintained• Develop relationships and new fundraising initiatives with the community to further the mission of YES• Assist with development and implementation of annual giving campaign• Research, write, and submit grant proposals, including letters of interest or responses to proposals

• Produce the weekly newsletter, bulletins, and promotional materials• Work with committees to develop and execute the communication plan• Update and manage the website and social media accounts

• Establish relationships with partner organizations to coordinate workshops and other events• Utilize social media to educate general public • See events through from start to completion including contacting vendors, creating design materials, and managing the event paperwork and materials

• Produce and distribute monthly keno specials and other marketing materials• Assist in on-site promotions and giveaways • Maintain inventory and allocate merchandise to locations

• Outreach to new and retain past event participants by phone and/or via e-mail.• Warm follow up with prospective team leaders.• Meticulously track and monitor participants using database.• Research companies/markets using Internet browsers, etc.• Assist in the implementation of the Kick-Off Breakfast and Making Strides event

• Maintain good relations with customer• Produce appealing displays for merchandise

• Coordinate and execute Letterwinners reunions, tailgate events, Cy’s House of Trivia• Update Letterwinners address database• Preserve positive relations with Letterwinners and Iowa State University Athletics• Produce pamphlets and promotional material

• Design, manage and generate City of Ames employee newsletter• Update and supervise the City of Ames website• Design print advertisements for all City of Ames departments• Coordinate and execute Welcome Back Event for students returning to Ames
