I serve as the Behavior Hub of the building. I observe students who display harmful and/or disruptive behaviors in the academic setting. I work closely with administration to ensure the goals a student has set are being reached. I collect data on each student I work with to properly track the child's progression. I create a fun atmosphere for the students, so they are excited to come learn how to improve their behavior. I have successfully graduated more than 20 students from their Behavior Success Plans, using and implementing strategies they were taught during our individual sessions. I enjoy seeing students genuinely thrive when they have met their goal on their Target Behavior Sheets. I also love collaborating with the school counselor, social worker and special education department to get new ideas in hopes of making a positive and lifelong impact in their lives. I can make extremely complicated and brash situations easier to digest and understand. I am the calm in the storm, able to deal with the biggest crises with a logical and approachable demeanor.
