Hi there, I'm Ashley and I'm a storytelling portrait and wedding photographer based out of Charlotte, NC area. Life passes by so quickly, and with so many moments that simply take our breath away. As a mommy of 5 little ones, I know first hand how fleeting those treasured moments can be. It is such an honor for me to have the opportunity to still them. To create beautiful, honest, imagery that is reflective of the love shared between a couple or a family. For me, photography isn't about setting up the perfect scenario. It's not about bringing boxes of props and creating a photo that falsifies true life. I want the real story. I want the end result to be unique to each individual couple, or family. For you to browse through your finished gallery and laugh out loud or tear up as you relive these moments. THAT is the essence of what I do. I also adore: my husband and children and our little farmhouse, our boxer Aggie, cat Garfield, and Guinea Pig Archie, sunshine and amazing light, having fun during a session and LAUGHING a lot, camera gear; and lots of it, binge watching netflix at night with my hubby, kettle corn, chipotle, coke, chai tea, hiking, enormous water bottles, fuzzy socks, standing out in the crowd, cooking, and yoga.I would love to hear from you, so if you'd like to chat about a session, please send me a message!
