About Ashley Fry, Dnp, Agacnp-Bc, Achpn

I have been a nurse for over 15 years with particular focus in hospice and palliative medicine. I enjoy learning about what drives my patients' health care decisions, supporting patients and families in complex medical decision making, advocating for patients based on their unique goals, and providing interventions to reduce symptom burden while working towards improving quality of life. I love collaborating with other clinicians to build awareness of end-of-life healthcare options and working to improve patient-directed outcomes.My DNP project focused on the reduced access to resources required to obtain medical aid in dying for rural Coloradans, and a subsequent advocacy campaign with state legislators.
