About Ashley Schmidt
I have worked in the banking and financial industry since 2015. I began working with investments as a registered representative at Charles Schwab. I passed the Series 7, 63 and 66 exams and hold life and health insurance licenses. I also hold the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation. I worked as a senior registered client associate for a team of financial advisors for almost three years before transitioning into the financial advisor role myself.I attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) in 2013 before taking time off from school to focus on building my career. I started at Penn State University in the fall of 2020. I graduated from Penn State in May of 2024 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. I am involved in my community and volunteer at nonprofits such as Junior Achievement, Oregon Humane Society, Food Bank of the Rockies, and Pacific Community Ventures.I was born in southern California but grew up in a small town just outside of Eugene, Oregon. I moved to Denver, Colorado in 2015. I enjoy hiking and camping with my husband and our two dogs. I also like to knit and spend extra free time tending to my large houseplant collection. I love to travel— I frequently visit family on the west coast and enjoy international travel as often as I can.
