• Promoted to serve as the senior policy advisor for Philadelphia City Councilmember Cindy Bass, leading her legislative agenda and coordinating all operations & public hearings of the Public Health and Parks & Recreation Committees• Executed the development and passage of 6 bills and 17 resolutions into law• Singlehandedly fulfilled the Councilmember’s legislative agenda by leading 3 weekly team meetings, researching issues, formulating initiatives, monitoring developments, drafting legislation, & coordinating legislation introductions• Developed and utilized strong relationships with local, state, federal, and private stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for all government officials, constituent groups, and outside interest groups• Led communications with stakeholders and media outlets on the Councilmember’s behalf, coordinating interviews, authoring 5 communications to Mayor Kenney, & curating 8 press releases• Recruited, trained, managed, & supervised 5 students for the policy internship program each academic semester
