Provide direct therapeutic services to the consumers in the Partial/Alpha Hospitalization Programs. • Planning and conducting group psychotherapy and other specialized therapy groups and managing behaviors of children and adolescents. • Attending to needs of students in class. Conducting assessments of safety, which includes physical, emotional, social and moral safety and utilize the S.E.L.F Model (Safety, Emotional, Loss and Future) • Provide case management services. Communicating regularly with team members to facilitate consumer progress • Completing all appropriate documentation as needed including case notes, case files, service treatment plans and service treatment plan updates, case reviews, case revisions; and all paperwork relevant to ensuring complete, ethical, uninterrupted care for consumers. • Conducting appropriate consultation with the treatment team regarding clinical care and policies/procedures. Attending weekly supervision with Program Director, and fully addressing all issues that impact quality of clinical care when available. • Attending and participating in weekly case reviews. • Consulting department director on matters related to clinical care and policy and procedure when appropriate and as needed. • Consulting with department director for all other matters as needed. • Keeping informed of and working according to state regulations, agency policies/procedures, and information related to the child therapist position. Attending all mandated trainings and completing ongoing trainings.
