My daily duties were to build our followers across 46 owned accounts in the two-state area, increase social traffic to SalvationArmyNorth.org, create content that engaged and deepened relationships with our audience, and establish an online policies and procedures document for all social media managers.One of my best social media strategies was crafted to support a live Facebook post highlighting a Guinness World Record breaking event at Mall of America. I led a plan with MOA’s social team, among others, that resulted in about 119,000 organic impressions and 45,600 video views on the post. To date, it remains one of The Salvation Army’s best performing pieces of content.Outside of crafting engaging content, I also implemented paid social media strategies. My proudest accomplishment was a brief campaign that resulted in filling 672 bell ringing hours that had a potential of raising $20,160 in revenue.
