‘Seismic/navigation/velocity data QC & Cleanup’ project. Data for major Norwegian client and loaded to their Seismic database(SDB) utilising MDS & PowerExplorer(GIS). Also covering for absent Team members and higher workload. Use of client’s internal data loading system(DLS) to track loading, etc. and internal contact with PDM’s.

I advised, prepared and supported regional seismic data management(prestack & poststack) solutions and proposals including input to RFI, RFQ, RFP. I worked for a major Norway client for over eight months, using MDS(R5000)/PowerExplorer/Troika QC for navigation/seismic/AO data analysis & loading, developed and delivered training, mentoring & procedures for team onsite in Stavanger(+remotely) to enable seamless efficient workflows.I delivered training courses and mentoring to external client staff on Seismic Data Management in Kuwait & India at each location.I managed a client’s hosted Seismic Data Digital Library for 3 years in the UK on a daily basis and ensured QA/QC and SLA standards were met for loading/unloading/retrieval/archiving data and prepared the monthly invoices(multi-million $/per annum) and KPI’s. I was responsible for the recruitment and performance management of a team of 12, (3 located in Aberdeen) to ensure deadlines and standards were met.I led a team to help implement a Seismic Data Management system and conducted data assessment, analysis, training & mentoring onsite at external client premises in Germany to enable exploration departments to have seamless and efficient workflows to access their data.

Acting as a client representative offshore supervising contractors’ work on 2D/3D Seismic operations, Navigation & Positioning Acquisition QC +navigation post-processing QC on offshore global seismic surveys for various oil/gas operator clients. I reported back to client office with operational and HSE statistics, daily communications, weekly reporting, status meetings and presentations to clients.
