I completed my degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 2016 with a major in Management with a minor in the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. My business education in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs and Kelley School of Business will be of great use for companies in all industries with my management, computing, accounting, marketing, and law-related skills through both schools. Through my education, various volunteering experiences and job opportunities, I have become greatly skilled in communication with my superiors, customers, and coworkers; I am more than capable of dealing with high-stress situations that call for quick yet tactful reactions and quickly analyse situations that often require creative problem solving. My passion began with the Animal Care Industry. Caring for another is a great responsibility and allowing families the peace of mind while they travel, work, or focus on other obligations provides me a great purpose and calling. Teaching and guiding others in this field has also been rewarding as they too realize the benefits of working with these animals and the joy they bring to our lives. My degree from Indiana University and my breadth of work experience puts me in a unique position to lead staff and educate clients on pet care and the benefits of day camps, grooming, training, and boarding. Over a decade of experience in the industy has provided me with great opportunities for personal and professional growth. I have lead a team of up to 40 individuals, managed and grown a million dollar company, retained and expanded our client base, and learned great deal along the way. I have spent extensive time hiring, training, and managing a young workforce, guiding them on their professional paths.
