For over two years, Ashley Hunter has been at the crossroads of storytelling and community engagement, starting as a managing editor and evolving into a marketing and programming manager for a nonprofit organization.At Goodwood Museum & Gardens, Ashley Hunter blends the past with the present, overseeing marketing and communications, coordinating volunteers, and orchestrating special events that bring history to life.Before entering the museum world, Ashley Hunter captured the stories of Florida's people and places. The work earned multiple awards from the Florida Press Association and the Association of Community Publishers for reporting, photography, and graphic design.This deep connection to Florida's cultural tapestry continues today through volunteer work at historic sites like Mission San Luis, Panhandle Pioneer Settlement, and the Tallahassee Highland Games, where she serves as the Clan Commissioner for the Clan MacKinnon Society-Florida chapter.Guided by a passion for heritage and conservation, Ashley Hunter is continually inspired to learn, connect, and advocate for stories that shape communities.Whether through a lens, a program, or a meticulously planned event, she remains committed to ensuring that Florida’s vibrant history is celebrated and shared.
