Initially hired as Public Education manager to ideate and implement scalable programs aligned with the AKC mission, reporting to Director of Education. Upon Director’s departure in November 2018, stepped up to fill the role in an interim capacity to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, manage a team of 10, and hire a Public Education coordinator concurrent with original responsibilities. Qualifications and Highlights• Audience Engagement: Restored and fortified the AKC Public Education function with launch of 10 new initiatives in 18 months, increasing the level of nationwide member program engagement by 600%+ in 2018 alone. Purged 1,400 inactive AKC Canine Ambassadors and restructured the program for 700% growth in active participation.• Program Expansion and Improvement: Increased AKC Patch Program participation by 152% to attract 900+ paying attendees at the 2017 AKC National Championship. Upon hire as Public Education manager, overhauled and remarketed the program to enhance implementation nationwide. • Online Learning and Digital Marketing: Developed 60+ pages of web content and member resources for upload with a self-taught content management system; organized and hosted AKC Education Webinar Series with 600+ viewers and a 4.2 out of 5 rating; and created online training for Canine Ambassadors using AKC’s Bridge LMS. • Collaboration and Workplace Culture: Immediately pursued and cultivated relationships with AKC department managers and vice presidents, contributing to special projects that enhanced existing customer alliances, attracted new customers and forged trusted internal partnerships.• Relationship Management and Influence: To convey the elements and value of public education and improve member perception, organized and presented at AKC Education Summit with 300+ attendees; traveled nationwide to demonstrate how education programs can boost local club events; and was invited to present outcomes to Delegates.
