I work on the commercial side of our barge line (ARTCo) in regards to Northbound Barges and Stevedoring operations in the gulf. On any given day, I am coordinating with customers for their barge or stevedoring needs, writing contracts, tracking barges, handling changes in destinations, and aiding customers with their invoices. Customers can come to one point of contact and get all their questions answered in one place.

I worked with commercial elevator accounts in order to procure soybeans for one of the largest soybean complexes in North America. In addition, I was in charge of the planning, contracting, and execution of our Non-GMO soybean program.

I analyzed how well Archer Daniels Midland was utilizing their rail fleet as well as negotiating the rail rates to move the various products on the rail lines in all of North America. I problem solved daily with various issues that occurred whether it be rates, car movements, or contracts.

I had a main summer project that was created to make a spreadsheet that allowed their merchandisers to look up multiple analytics quicker and in one location.
