In this role I provide strategic communications leadership, partnership and counsel to Skanska’s building operations in metro DC, Maryland, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. In this role, I also develop and implement external communications strategies to elevate Skanska’s building operations’ position in the region and to support national positioning efforts.

My key responsibility in this role was to conceptualize and execute key external media strategies for day-to-day organizational initiatives and large-scale opportunities for fourteen hospitals in the AdventHealth national system. I was also responsible for developing media strategies with national partners such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning. I also led the development and growth of two communications specialists who support daily media needs at select AdventHealth locations throughout West Florida. My role also included the preparation of executive leadership, government relations, key physicians and stakeholders for local, regional, and national media and crisis communications.

My responsibilities include managing communications for the 11 hospitals in the West Florida Division; preparing executive leadership, physicians and team members for media opportunities, conceptualizing key concepts and strategies for West Florida Division communications initiatives, assisting the Director of Corporate Communications in crisis and strategic communications, and managing all West Florida Division social media channels.

My responsibilities included conceptualizing ideas and copy for marketing and communications collateral, preparing media releases, organizing media interviews, shooting and editing owned media content, and managing social media for select departments.

My responsibilities included shooting, writing, editing and reporting breaking, enterprise and feature stories for the 24-hour newscast while on a tight deadline. As fill-in web anchor, my role consisted of curating and reporting day-of web content to viewers. In addition to on-camera duties, I was responsible for integrating social media into my reporting as an additional method of connecting with viewers and driving station loyalty.

My responsibilities included shooting, writing and editing live, breaking stories for the station’s multiple 30 minute newscasts. My duties also included writing teases and copy for anchors.
