Currently employed at Venture River Water Park, Western Kentucky’s largest water park. Located in the Kentucky Lakes region we receive guests from around the country. As the bookkeeper I am responsible for all accounts payable, bank reconciliations, daily deposits, and data organization for daily sales and attendance. As the payroll administrator I am responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of all paychecks. Venture River has 200+ employees during the summer season. I collect and calculate all employee time cards. I calculate all charges made by employees that will be deducted from payroll. I efficiently and accurately enter all information into Quickbooks, print, and distribute paychecks. I ensure accurate pay rates and handle any employee questions. As the Human Resource Assistant I receive and organize all employee paperwork. I ensure every employee has turned in all necessary paperwork and identification. I receive employee information from multiple departments and contact employees when needed. As the Group Sales Representative I work with groups of all sizes that would like to plan an event with the park. From family groups of 15 to company events of 2,000 people. I work with the group to discuss all we offer and learn what they are interested in. I handle scheduling and ensuring the day of process is as smooth as possible.
