• Work directly with Design, PD and Production to understand and execute all seasonal fabric developments that meet design aesthetic requirements and are in line with sourcing strategy and cost targets.• Translate design aesthetic/sourcing needs as direction for fabric mills & vendors.• Drive innovation and new ideas through RM sourcing / textile shows and development in partnership with fabric mills & vendors.• Travel domestic and international to attend textiles shows and meet with vendors at their offices to review future or current development.• Counter-source qualities with other vendors for more competitive pricing lead time and/or execution.• Maintain development calendar/ fabric development chart and ensure deadlines are met for SMS fabric development and approvals.• Submit, track and maintain all lab dips, handlooms and strike offs.
