Executive Team Leader

I started my career with Target as an Executive Team Leader (ETL)-Softlines in July of 2013 where I was in role for nine months. I was then promoted to an ETL-Guest Experience. For twelve months in role, I oversaw three team leaders, two guest service attendants, ~47 cashiers, Starbucks, Food Avenue, Guest Service and Cart Attendants. Eight days a month, I performed the role of the Leader on Duty (LOD) that is in charge of the entire $43 million revenue producing store. My roles were as follows:•Motivated employees to optimize performance, productivity and efficiency while working closely with 13 department managers to manage the store•Recruited, interviewed, selected, developed and trained employees•Was apart of the Madison District Recruiting Team to recruit at campus events •Investigated, recommended and resolved employee issues for policy or internal process violations and employee concerns, complaints, etc. (attendance guidelines, no-call-no-shows, etc.)•Mentored summer interns to develop into an Executive Team Leader•Provided positive and constructive feedback to employees •Completed quarterly and annual performance reviews with direct reports •Conducted performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions as required •Conducted semi-annual pulse surveys (employee surveys) with entire team and develop associated action plans •Handled escalated customer service complaints•Promoted superior service and guest satisfaction by analyzing guest survey results weekly, promptly resolving issues, and preventing escalation•Trained new team leaders on store processes, procedures and Target best practices
