I am currently an operations manager with Target. I directly manage a team of 98 team members and three merit team members. I own the department planning and execution, ensuring plans are executed while improving performance and achieving budget goals. I work with our team to consistently innovate and apply new approaches to the processes and methods to run more efficiently, implementing future process flow optimization. I organize training plans for the team to achieve full cross training of all team members in each section. During the day, I strive to foster a safety first culture through awareness, training and accountability. I run an inclusive and engaging department to create a positive work environment through real-time observations and specific, constructive and actionable feedback. I work hand in hand with my merit team members in order to continually develop and empower them to become stronger leaders, and prepare them for the next step in their leadership careers.
