- £10m technical implementation of an IT system to support the start up of Riggs & Co. – International Private Banking in London and Jersey. This was completed on time in 2.5 years, with the initial systems up and running 18 months after project start to allow the bank to open.- Initial design and functional and integration specifications of banking, trust and company administration, accounting, document processing, CRM and knowledge management, portfolio management, portfolio modelling, consolidated client reporting, and application delivery systems in a largely web based environment. The entire system was designed on principles of straight through processing and systematic control of the “business getting” function of private bankers.- Implemented a structured programme and project management and reporting methodology for the company to control the multi faceted and complex implementation program. This was based on PRINCE 2 but cut down to ensure rapid delivery of systems. The parent organisation of Riggs Bank in the USA adopted this methodology for their ongoing home-grown developments.- Implemented a central programme office (CPO) to administer projects monitoring and reporting.- Authored request for proposals and invitation to tender documents and lead subsequent systems selection teams.- Implementation management of teams from Misys (Midas, ToF, OMS, Meridian middleware), Landsteinar (Navision), Aston Group (Navision), Tower (Doc Processing), Pegasystems (CRM), Bloomberg (PTS), Network Models (Portfolio modelling) , Blueprint Management Systems (data warehousing and Business Objects client reporting), Syan (Citrix, Tivoli, networks), an inhouse team and others.- Managed the outsourcing of IT operations, negotiated SLA.Finalist in the 2002 Institute of Financial Services/BT Financial Innovations Awards for the Best CRM Strategy.
