Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Manages the Alumni Board• Schedules events and/or services including reserving space, determining catering needs, tracking expenses and revenues, and maintaining records• Works with key staff members to create an annual calendar that reflects campus-wide priorities including events, meetings, and athletics events• Acts as main liaison between event organizers/sponsors and marketing and communication to ensure adequate and appropriate publicity for events• Maximizes potential impact of events towards stewardship, community relations , alumni, etc., by measuring special event return on investment• Manages the annual phonathon operation by overseeing all aspects of planning, coordinating, and executing the annual Phonathan, including establishing and achieving annual goals for participation and revenue generation• Develops and manages activities and projects to create an ongoing awareness of the university and foundation’s issues and needs amongst all constituent groups based on the case for support• Facilitates ways in which the University and Foundation can identify prospects and steward donors• Actively participates in state, regional and national alumni affairs associations and represents the university on the Pennsylvania Council of Alumni Associations• Plans, develops and distributes all alumni relations materials and publications• Plans, develops and manages the successful creation of Alumni Chapters in order to advance the mission, vision and financial health of the Foundation and University• Develops and implements an annual calendar of constituent visits

- Solicit and steward alumni, parents and friends of Susquehanna University via face to face visits, phone and email to secure leadership level annual fund gifts- Manage annual fund marketing and communications pieces through direct mail, email and social media. Work with university communications and a mail house to design, write and produce all mailings.- Led an online social media/crowdfunding giving challenge that took place on 11.21.13. The challenge was called, Thanks4Giving Day. This giving challenge raised over $470,000 in one day. It helped to increase our annual giving participation as well as tie together the community to the university, alumni and current students. I worked with campus partners and created communications plans as well as executed them to make the day successful.- Manage the annual giving student Phone a Thon program. Work with our advancement services team to gather data and segment them for solicitation calls as well as volunteer calling. Used Dialvision calling program software as part of my daily duties with the program. Managed, hired and trained between 20-30 students per semester.- Created a program referred to as Senior Bridge, connecting current seniors from their student to alumni status. Senior Bridge also includes the senior class gift.- Co-managed TAG Day event. Students take the time to write thank you notes to alumni that have made a gift in the current fiscal year.- Attend and assist with coordinating regional alumni networking events

Worked in the College of Agricultural Science Development Office assisting in fundraising efforts for the $2 billion capital campaign: “For the Future: The Campaign for Penn State Students.”
