Formulate and safely execute traffic plans for movement of trains, respective train crews, maintenance personnel and associated equipment across 10 subdivisions which include over 700 territory milesAnalyze railroad conditions to include but not limited to: weather, train crew availability, speed restrictions, unplanned events and emergencies, and equipment availability to coordinate responses and performance Communicate operations stratagem via telephone, radio, and Computer Aided Dispatching system in collaboration with field management, foreign railroads, etc. Expedite authorities/ documentation delivery relative, but not confined to: Hours-of-Service constraints, HazMat, high-wide loads, remote authorizations, manual signal and switch adjustments, etc.
