Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS & AASB;Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end including acting as a first point of contact for the clients;Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk;Supervises junior auditors assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables;Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk;Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives;Preparation of audit findings reports, and other relevant board Clients include, Argyle Diamonds, Scott Park Group, Pindan, Transerv, Richgro, Rand Mining and various other engagements.

Completion of Board reporting pack including analysis of actual results vs budget or forecast;Preparation of annual statutory accounts for consolidated entity as well as subsidiaries;Liaising with external auditors for audit purposes;Liasing with senior management on various technical aspects of the business for compliance with IFRS;Management of the Group Accounts Payable/Receivable function; Preparation of consolidation journals including technical asepcts and and eliminations at month end for all entities;Reconciliation & management of inter-company accounts;Preparation of the monthly consolidated fixed asset report for boardPreparation of monthly board packs for reporting directly to board members including set up of sections of the report as well as completing included information. Preparation of monthly capital expenditure reports, including preparation of analytical commentary;Preparation of interim(half year) financial statements;Preparation of year end financial statements and related notes in accordance with IFRS. Performing discounted cash flow valuations for susbidiaries;

Management of the monthly financial statement close process;Management of the accounts payable function for the marketing division;Management of a team of 5 staff;Involved in the HR recruitment process to hire 3 staff members;Perform monthly close off of the accounts;Preparation of yearly cash flow forecasts and budgets across all marketing divisions;Monitoring of monthly budget per division; Authorisation of purchase orders, invoices and payments for the marketing division;Monthly forecasting of marketing spend to be in line with budget;Monthly meetings with stakeholders involved in marketing projects; Weekly meeting with division heads for discussions on marketing activities;Review of staff members KPI's and performing quarterly performance meetings.
