I spent much of college in Chick-fil-A lines; as the manager’s chosen line regulator, earpiece and all peering in the car’s window amidst the fumes, I realized later that my skills was creating a working system that would run smoothly and also my sense of ownership and leadership. In fact, working nonstop since high school – today I am trusted by the former chef of the White House (and broadcast host wife)! Facilitating their day-to-day is easier after literally thinking on my feet on those scorching Florida days.
