Ashley Simmons is a leader with deep connections and proven results who believes in fostering a transparent and collaborative culture. Representing the business community across the transportation, technology, and telecommunications sectors, her work has framed key policy debates on supply chain security, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), connected and autonomous vehicles, net neutrality, standardization, broadband deployment, and more. She’s led teams and developed winning strategies to elevate brands and reputations, shape federal and state advocacy campaigns, enact legislation and regulation, and expand global influence. She is also the Founder of REVVIT Public Relations – a consultancy providing strategies to educate policymakers on technology-centric policy issues.Prior, as VP for External Communications at the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), she transformed TIA’s communications function to develop integrated strategies for the policy, advocacy, and standards teams. Under her leadership, TIA grew it’s reach and the impact to deliver exceptional member value.Ashley also served as Director of Communications for the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), overseeing marketing, events, and communications, and led a successful campaign for the 2014 ITS World Congress in Detroit, Michigan. Prior, she cultivated her PR, media relations, and digital media skills in roles with the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) and the Motion Picture Association. Before coming to the nation’s capital, Ashley held communications advisory roles for mayoral and county political campaigns in her hometown of Buffalo, New York.
