- Plan, organize and execute 150+ events per academic year including in-person andvirtual special events such as Rec Fest and Turkey Trot 5k/10k, Sport Club home gamesand tournaments, and on-campus student organization and department events,ranging from 20-10,000 participants per event- Manage master schedule and develop contracts and invoices for all Athletic andRecreational facilities on campus utilizing the scheduling software (EMS) to collect,prioritize, and approve all facility requests including Exercise & Sports Studies Deptclasses, Recreation Dept programs, Intramurals Leagues, Sport Clubs, RegisteredStudent Organizations, Athletics Department, and Community clients.- Provide on-site supervision during large, complex, and high-risk events- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate 50+ Events staff, including 10 student managersand indirectly supervise 75+ Summer Camp staff including directors, head counselors,student managers, specialists, counselors, and junior counselors- Recruit, onboard, and supervise a full-time Youth Programs Coordinator- Design and manage all aspects of Events and Summer Camps staff on-boarding,training and development including emergency/ risk management, customer service,and facility and university policies and procedures- Collaborate with campus departments (Police Department, Transportation & ParkingServices, Concessions, Facilities Management, etc.) to plan and evaluate events- Establishes annual program budgets (Events -$200,000, Summer Camps - $400,000),track all income/ expenditures, forecasts year-end net income, prepare and analyzefinancial reports and generates over $500,000 annually in facility rental revenue.- Coordinate strategic planning and goal setting for all Department Events, Scheduling,and Youth Programs- Build strategic vendor relationships and negotiate sponsorship agreements tomaximize event engagement and efficiencies- Chair/ participate in multiple department/ campus committees
