I program and teach music appreciation and fundamentals; provide musical selection, direction and accompaniment for choir, holiday, Spring Variety Show, Graduation and other events; I instruct K-8 piano, voice, recorder and ukulele; program and execute the sustainability elective, school climate and garden efforts; I perform music programming and provide piano accompaniment for weekly children’s masses. I am currently piloting the Creative Regeneration Elective focused on regenerating ecosystems on campus and worldwide.

We inspire the regeneration of ecological systems through the arts. This has included in-school program design and education for Solidarity Farm School plus schools in the Poway Unified School District and across San Diego County at large with partner Parachute Arts. Past programs included TV programming for the City of Palmdale, podcasting, sustainable event production, environmental arts and performance events, and organizational collaborations.

The Pacific Beach EcoDistrict aims to increase equity, resilience and climate protection for the PB region by bolstering Economic Vitality, Accessible Neighborhood Housing, and Low Carbon Mobility. Since its founding in 2013, the EcoDistrict Model has demonstrated that neighborhoods are the ideal scale to innovate equitable, sustainable development in cities. Today, a diverse cross-sector coalition of PB volunteers and funders are united in addressing high business failure rates, increasing income inequality, unusually-long trip distances, unsafe and illegal bike commuting (2018 PB Counts Mobility Report), and record high 2018 housing costs. Provided direct support to San Diego's Chief Sustainability Manager to successfully implement San Diego's Climate Action Plan, including annual reporting, strategic policy research and communications.

This Beta Pilot program brought innovative rain harvesting engineering from Israel to three public schools—City Heights, Pacific Beach and Encinitas. UCSD Rady and GPS students worked with professors and Israeli founder Amir Yechieli to implement and measure results from the program. The rain barrel harvesting systems continue to collect water in urban areas, which currently drains into the sewer, and/or the sea. The collected water is used for toilet flushing and garden irrigation which can account for 85 percent of a school’s total water usage.
