I lead a dynamic HR team and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and organizational goals.

Assisted the VP of HR and Performance Excellence with implementation and support of benefits administration, compensation administration, payroll administration, employee relations, employee recognition programs, performance management/development, succession planning, and leave management policies. Implemented a new HRIS software from Paylocity to UKG. Created and led Human Resources practices and objectives that provided an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasized empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Provided advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation as well as coordinated the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.

Partnered with the VP of Human Resources and business heads from multiple departments to plan and executed an organization-wide transition to a state-of-the-art HRIS system across 17 subsidiaries. Designated as a primary point of contact for vendors regarding system deployment, troubleshooting, and escalation concerns. Tested and validated all benefits, payroll and HR employee data to maintain accuracy with historical data. Designed effective communications to employees, providing comprehensive platform information and marketing the benefits of participation. Conducted training for end users on all system functionality. Prepared and presented status updates to senior management. Managed all recruiting activities for 5 different geographic locations to find the best talent for each location.

Managed recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and UltiPro HRIS management for a 1200-employee population across 47 separate locations within the University of Florida campus system. Assisted the Human Resources Manager in all facets of payroll administration, leave requests, benefit open enrollment periods, and performance management processes. Analyzed and revised HR policies regarding internal investigations and diversity to ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal laws. Represented the organization at job fairs and other recruiting events to identify qualifies applicants. Directed a team of six student ambassadors, including scheduling, assignments, coaching, and team dynamics.

Recruited talent for open positions, including preliminary screenings and interviews, drug testing, and management of job postings on the company’s career website. Coordinated new employee on-boarding and safety training for manufacturing and distribution positions with significant OSHA concerns. Led bi-weekly supervisor leadership to brainstorm ways to improve efficiencies across multiple departments. Audited the company’s past and current I-9 documentation and prepared a summary of findings for senior management.
