Primary Dietitian for the Oak House Eating Disorder 8 bed residential program and 78 bed trauma program.• Assesses clients for eating disorders and nutritional deficiencies through comprehensive nutritional assessment.• Communicates with outpatient dietitians.• Prepares and adjusts individual meal plans for all clients in the Oak House considering medical, nutritional, age, cultural, religious and ethical concerns.• Facilitates 40 individual weekly nutrition counseling sessions to establish goals and challenges. • Leads weekly nutrition education groups and facilitates exposures for patients to learn new skills and behaviors which will contribute to a healthy lifestyle. • Monitors the progress of each client and reports to therapist. Assists team with client discharge plan.• Monitors meals and snacks, including eating/modeling normal eating with eating disordered patients.• Communicates effectively with other departments to provide the high-quality patient care.• Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients protected health information.• Participates in presentations of scheduled in-services and presents training seminars for staff.

Full time primary dietitian for acute psychiatric facility, residential trauma facility, skilled nursing facility, and HIV clinic. • Developed care plans and assess high risk nutrition patients for eating disorders, wounds, dialysis, nutrition support, weight loss, weight gain, and other nutritional needs. • Worked closely with interdisciplinary teams for a holistic approach to patient wellness and care. • Provided dietary support in other facilities as needed.• Provided monthly quality assurance inspections in compliance with Joint Commission Accreditation Standards.
