My role has evolved from supporting Creative to now supporting Marketing as a whole. In this new role I diligently partner with all areas of marketing and other departments in the company to help solve a business problem. We use an integrated approach to include all necessary stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle to ensure all strategic priorities are being touched.

As a one of the Senior Project Managers in the Creative Studio, I take on projects that partner closely with Business Leaders at Cambia and Regence. If there is a complex or sensitive project, you can count on me to get the project successfully executed. I’ll work on any line of business and partner with Sales and Project Leaders to be a trusted ally that will support their decisions and keep projects on track. One of the biggest projects I manage annually is the Sales Conference. This project requires ideation through several rounds of concepts, messaging, and partnering with our Sales Business Leaders during all rounds. This year I was asked to Program Manage the Regence rebrand at a high level, identifying and working closely with work streams who manage the updates for all the lines of business. In addition, I also tracked milestones, status updates and facilitated weekly work stream meetings and reported the Program status to Marketing leadership.Another important part of being a Project Manager is having a good working relationship with the Creative Team. I work very hard to get to know the Writers and Designers so that I am a trusted ally that they can come to for anything. I advocate for them and their work constantly because I know they are the best at what they do.Everything I work on requires timeline creation, forcasting, and sometimes budgeting. I facilitate all project meetings and actively escalate potential risk to clients or mitigate risk with constant communication.

As a Project Manager in the Marketing department at CHPW, I managed multiple projects and campaigns from launch through completion. I created timelines, work-back schedules and stuck within some very strict deadlines, especially for health care and health plan tasks. In my first couple of months I managed the launch and execution of creating Marketing Materials for CHNW Cascade Select, a new Health Plan the organization had won through RFP process. As part of the launch I managed over 30 different marketing materials that were created for print and digital. All new materials that needed to be created from scratch and within a very strict 4-5 month timeline. I also managed the Campaign materials for CHNW Cascade Select and AEP during open enrollment for both plans. Both campaigns included multi-touch mailers, commercials, digital ads, out of home, and radio ads. During my time with CHPW, I have worked with dev to get websites updated with new pages and content, I work weekly with the sales team to produce material for members and prospects, and much more. This position allowed me to work with Directors, VPs, and other high-level decision makers. And, I led meetings daily or as needed to keep moving projects along.

As an Account Manager at PMG, I managed B2B and B2C accounts and projects with budgets that have a wide range. One of my main clients was in the aerospace industry, challenging our team to act quickly on our feet when a new task was requested or to attend to client calls any time of day as needed. I work closely with the creative team advocating for them to do their best while also keeping clients and accounts happy and on track. I was very happy with this agency, but left because my significant other relocated to another state.

Working for Cambia Health Solutions was one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. Every piece of work that we produced was being used for a positive outcome. At Cambia, I worked with several departments ranging from Sales, Health and Wellness, StratComm and more. At one point in time I managed up to 50 projects, all within different phases of it's life cycle. I not only managed the projects and resourcing, but I worked with each client and department to maintain a healthy and positive relationship for future work. I learned to listen to my clients, because each person I worked with had a different working style and/or need. Working at Cambia helped to boost my knowledge around client relationship and strategy.

In this position, I coordinated the calendaring and follow through of tech events that my client sponsors and attends. I ensure each event includes all the necessary booth requirements and that the client is well represented with strategic branding and collateral to promote to attendees. Project managing, logistical coordinating, and strategy are necessary to ensure success for each event. I also coordinate various office tasks involving project closing procedures, creating scopes and SOW's for potential projects, and answering phone calls from vendors and clients.

I worked on a team coordinating and executing various tasks. Daily, I analyzed data using excel and other Microsoft databases as well as interacted with the clients for questions or feedback. I worked with different areas of the business including IT, programmers, Attorneys etc to ensure a successful work flow.

As a leader I am faced with issues and problems that i have to solve with my best judgement. I manage more than 20 employees who I coach for growth opportunities, and reward employees when improvements have been met. I am in charge of making my hourly segments that build up to making the stores daily financial goal. I am highly competitive when encouraging customers to open up credit accounts. At the end of the night, I am responsible for closing the store, which involves closing the register, setting up the deposit and balancing the safe. I am responsible for leaving the store clean and recovered and ready for the opening manager.

In this position, I plan and execute events for students on and off campus. I'm responsible for organizing the events, contacting speakers and ensuring the event runs accordingly. As the president, I was responsible for leading a student group and ensuring the organization reaches maximum success.

This is a lead position that helps to promote the Amazon brand on the Portland State University campus. The Amazon brand will be promoted through a two day event that is marketed to students on campus. The LBA position helps with recruitment for the event by promoting the needed positions and referring the candidates to the LBA's supervisor. During the days of the event, the LBA will supervise other brand ambassadors and ensure that a successful event is executed.
