Identified as a "changemaker" by the Obama Foundation the Obama Leaders program is for emerging leaders working in government, civil society, and the private sector who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the common good. The program focuses on emerging Leaders, 24-45 years old, who aim to drive systems-level change across sectors and issues, and have at least three years of demonstrated impact. Leaders will continue to gain a broader global perspective by joining the Obama Leadership Network, a growing global alumni community of over 1,000 active changemakers. Responsible for the grocery operations of 31 grocery stores across three Hawaiian islands and leading a team of 3,500+ employees. Ownership for labor management, controlling expenses, achieving gross margin budgets, driving sales, delivering excellent customer service and achieving bottom line profitability budgets for each grocery store. Opened new grocery store concepts such as Foodland Farms Ala Moana the company's first "grocerant" concept. Previously held the roles of District Manager, Director of Human Resources for Foodland Super Market Ltd. and the Director of Operations for Pacific Sweets which operated Beard Papa and Hi Steaks.

Selected as 1 out of 10 companies in Mana Up's Hawaii business accelerator program that has a 5% acceptance rate. Mana Up aims to support products rooted in Hawai'i that elevate authentic Hawaii stories through their brands. 48% of the companies are native Hawaiian owned, 63% are female led, and 68% are AANHPI owned.
