I am currently an undergraduate student at Georgia State University pursuing a Bachelors in neuroscience.I always knew I wanted to purse a life in science, however, it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to purse specifically. Until one semester, when I took an introduction class for neuroscience and psychopathology. I was completely fascinated with how complex the human brain is and how it contributes to psychological phenomenons. My neuroscience major has allowed me to obtain years of significant laboratory experience. I am able to preform a variety of analytical and technical laboratory experiments. I can effectively record, calculate and analyze data and present findings of ongoing research. I also have multiple hand on experiences due to my continuous volunteer work at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.Despite having yet to graduate, I would like to apply my scientific knowledge in neuroscience into a research assistant role or internship.
