Writing, editing, and designing supplemental educational materials based on the PBS Kids show "Lyla in the Loop" and its Computational Thinking curriculum. Projects are posted on the PBS Kids and PBS Kids LearningMedia websites, and include worksheets, activity cards, and lesson plans.

Acelero Learning is a network of equity-centered Head Start and Early Head Start preschools across the United States. I am a Curriculum Writer of more than 300 developmentally appropriate and fun activities that extend Acelero’s preschool curriculum at home. I determine the developmental level, curriculum domain, strand, and sub-strand each activity aligns with. I then write each activity in language that’s easy for busy parents to understand. Activities are for kids ages 3 months through 5 years, and are distributed across the following domains: Math, Language and Literacy, Social-Emotional Learning, Science, Social Studies, Creativity, Health and Wellness, and Physical. I also created a six-month scope and sequence and assessed the gaps in curricular areas.

Educational Consultant for YouTube Kids Original Series "Pinkfong Wonderstar" seasons 1 and 2. Wrote intro segment scripts; provided feedback on learning goals, English language translation, and other materials.

Designed PowerPoint slide layouts and created original graphics in Illustrator to help communicate the work of the Playful Learning Landscapes organization.

Duck Duck Moose was an award-winning app studio that creates educational apps for children. (Now part of Khan Academy). I worked on their app WonderBox, which encouraged creativity and curiosity in elementary-aged kids. As a graduate intern I:• Created 18 creative challenges based on various topics (topic examples: sand, Japan, Thanksgiving)• Curated YouTube videos to support learning around the challenge topics• Assessed alignment of content to curriculum standards (Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, etc.)

AltSchool was a new network of micro-schools focused on personalized learning. As a graduate intern I:• Conducted a qualitative research project in AltSchool elementary and middle school classrooms• Observed in 4 classrooms, interviewed 4 educators, and collected survey data from educators• Shared my findings and recommendations at a company-wide presentation

PlaySquare was an app startup that made "appisodes" (interactive TV episodes) based on the PBS Kids preschool literacy TV show "WordWorld."​ As a Writer/Associate Producer I:•Wrote dialogue and interaction scripts for 4 iPad appisodes of the PBS Kids literacy series WordWorld.•Designed preschool age-appropriate interaction and game play mechanics for apps. •Evaluated television properties for potential partnerships and prepared for pitch meetings with TV networks.•Managed research, social media, and game design interns.
