Creating Nebraska's Post-Eligibility Opportunities Program, which provides Nebraska student-athletes a $7,500 post-graduate scholarship for an internship, study abroad experience, or graduate school, was a dream come true! Within three years of the program's launch, PEO distributed more than $1,000,000 in scholarship aid to 140+ participants in 6 continents, 14 countries, and 18 states. Participants had a 98% full-time job-placement rate upon completion of internships and 26% of participants were first-generation college graduates.
