I am responsible for organizing, planning, and growing the middle school, high school, and college ministry at our church. This includes weekly meetings, special events, mission trips, and service projects.

Mae Sot, Thailand

As the assistant director of The Journey, I helped set the vision and goals as a co-founder of the program. I helped recruit and lead participants while on our overseas projects. This included classroom instruction in spiritual formation, Bible overview, leadership, and business. My role required me to set-up and manage the logistics for our team of people to get to Thailand, set up a residence, and begin work on our projects. As the direct on-the-field leadership, I guided the process of starting two sustainable, non-profit businesses in Mae Sot Thailand. This includes Famous Ray's Burger Restaruant (now ranked #1 for our city on TripAdvisor) and Famous Ray's Bicycle Shop. Both businesses give their profits back to community projects like children's homes for Burmese refugees and skills training in bicycle repair for street kids. All of this was accomplished in one year's time. The results of our endeavors are multifaceted and have benefited long-term partners who now oversee the projects after our initial development and opening.

I served as the regional office administrative assistant. I served the executive director and four regional sales representatives. My daily functions included general office work and receptionist duties. In addition to the administrative tasks, I was the marketing coordinator and assisted the sales representatives in setting up and staffing events in a three state area. This included site logistics and working directly with our teaching and tutoring staff to prepare them for marketing events.

Pioneered all aspects of an alumni program for a non-profit Christian missions organization with yearly revenue over $15 million sending over 6,500 people to volunteer in nations around the world.Designed an alumni database of 1,100 people for the organization using Highrise CRM software. Managed a $15,000 budget for the development of the alumni program and its activities.Planned and coordinated logistics for volunteer opportunities within the US and in international locations like Haiti, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Ireland, Romania, and South Africa.Recruited and trained over 100 alumni leaders through mentoring relationships and programs.
