As the Director of Account Services at Jones PR, I take pride in mentoring and supporting our dedicated account teams to effectively manage client accounts and deliver exceptional client service. My responsibilities include overseeing strategic communications planning, managing campaigns, and ensuring the seamless delivery of five-star client service.

I help manage an account team and workflow functioning as the team leader for more than 10 accounts. I develop strategic communications plans for each of my clients on an annual basis with the goal to ensure delivery of results as expected in the scope of work. I am a detail-oriented team player managing multiple deadlines and projects while mentoring junior team members.

I manage a variety of clients as the lead strategist developing campaign strategies, editorial calendars, social media strategy and more. I meet with clients on a regular basis to determine needs and develop plans and programs to meet those goals. I advise clients on direction, communication need and reputation while suggesting additional projects to enhance or adjust the public relations position of the client. I provided full campaign account support and assisted in the day-to-day assignments for clients. I developed media contact lists, tracked media coverage and developed reports. I conducted media outreach, created editorial calendars and crafted proactive pitches. I developed and managed multiple social media accounts, coordinated and assembled press packets and training kits, compiled media clips and regularly identified opportunities for clients to strengthen their position. I assisted with writing communications plans, drafted reports and coordinated event logistics.

As Past President, I served as an advisor to the current Board of Directors.

I served as the 2019/2020 President of Ad 2 OKC, a local communications group working to mentor students and advance the industry. I oversaw a 10-person Board of Directors, work with the Treasurer on budgets, helped plan monthly member events, promoted the organization to potential members, strategically thought of ways to engage our membership and ran monthly board meetings.

I was President-Elect for the 2018/2019 board of Ad 2 OKC. In this volunteer position, I oversaw and led all club activities in absence of the president. Additionally, I led all Ad 2 National Public Service duties. I also led our Public Service team as Chair. Each year, Ad 2 accepts applications from local OKC nonprofits and selects one to receive a full-service marketing, advertising and PR campaign. My role included assembling a team of volunteers from the communications industry, taking applications and leading our team as we selected a nonprofit and strategized a campaign for the year. Once the campaign concluded, our team competed with other Ad 2 clubs nationally to determine the effectiveness of our campaign. Ad 2 is a group of young, passionate, forward-thinking and forward-moving people making a difference. Our mission is to energize and connect young professionals and students in the Oklahoma City communications and advertising industry.

In this role, I worked with OKC Ad Club's ADDYs Chair on a combined effort with committee members to plan and execute the 2018 American Advertising Awards.

I served as a Student Ambassador for Ad 2 OKC during my senior year of college after becoming a member of the organization. I worked to promote Ad 2 OKC on the college campus to encourage student membership through presentations, flyers and word-of-mouth.

I served as the Social Media Chair for the 2018 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) board in OKC. In this volunteer role, I coordinated all social media efforts for PRSA including the creation of content, scheduling, ad placements and strategy.

I monitored and created engagement on client social media through Sprout Social, Yelp Business and Trip Advisor, created social give-a-ways and content through ShortStack, covered and photographed events and assisted with monthly reports through Sprout Social, Facebook Ads and Twitter Ads. I reported to the Account Executives with any tasks assigned to me via Basecamp.

I assembled marketing packages for events the Lottery attended. I covered events and got event-goers excited about the Lottery and current promotions. I conducted an extensive research report and presented findings to the Executive Director in an effort to guide his decision on the topic.

I managed a group of 20-30 associates through SalesForce and HotSchedules. I assisted in the setup and break down of events while ensuring smooth execution of staffing, catering, seating and any additional components.
