Provides support and expertise for investigations related to patient-oriented outcomes and lower extremity injuries. Identifies methodological approaches to foster and enhance research within the AT-PBRN, including observational and longitudinal investigations.

Oversees current concussion research studies conducted by USA Swimming, and manages research teams affiliated with each individual study. Assists with logistics planning and the development and management of project databases. Prepares abstracts, reports & peer-reviewed research publications. Conducts clinical research, including organizing and analyzing data gathered from research studies. Facilitates IRB protocol submissions, modifications, continuations, and closures.

High Performance Network - Sports Medicine & Science Serves on the medical staff for domestic and international meets and competitions. Evaluates, treats, and documents injuries and illnesses during preparation camps (domestic/international) and competitions. Develops rehabilitation protocols to facilitate the continuation of care for National team athletes. Translational athletic healthcare research utilizing the Athletic Training Practice-Based Research Network (AT-PBRN) to evaluate clinical practice and optimize patient outcomes. Experience teaching contemporary courses, such as Health Information Technology, Practice-Based Research, Patient Outcomes, Methods of Data Analysis, Research Methods & Design, and Evidence-Based Practice.

Worked in collaboration with University of Virginia Kinesiology faculty, and Department of Orthopedics to facilitate research investigations. Managed four distinct testing areas, including data collection and laboratory maintenance for equipment to assess strength, muscle activation, balance, motion, gait, joint laxity, functional performance, and neurocognitive function.
