Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Program

• Provide weekly or bi-weekly individual therapy utilizing evidence-based practices including but not limited to CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Play Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy• Implement safety risk assessments and collaborative safety planning• Conduct mental health assessments, identify DSM-5 diagnoses when appropriate, and create collaborative treatment plans• Collaborate with school staff, parents/caregivers, and other identified supports to establish an engaging multidisciplinary team• Experience utilizing a trauma-informed, culturally-sustaining, and strength-based approach to a diverse school population• Design and facilitate group therapy workshops for middle school students• Provide mentorship to student therapists

• Provide behavioral coaching, crisis counseling, skill building, case management, and crisis intervention services to youth and families• Participate in treatment plan reviews, program staff meetings, Department of Child and Family Services (DFCS) child and family team meetings, and IEP meetings when appropriated• Collaborate with Care Coordinators, Family Specialists, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, and other identified supports to develop individualized treatment plans, interventions, an action plans to support the youth and family• Participate in 24-hour On-Call Crisis Response on a rotating basis

• Provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in home, community, and school settings• Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment• Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment• Accurately collect behavior data including: A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, inter-response time, event, and interval-based recording• Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation
