Ashley Ortogero is the Operations and General Manager of Kilauea Pest Control, Oahu’s largest locally owned pest control company. She has helped grow Kilauea from the only admin in an eight-person company to leading a team of over ninety in just 10 years. She also manages our Maui and Moloka’i divisions. During her time at Kilauea, Ashley has helped develop HR, marketing, and management best practices to become a best-in-class service for the Hawaii market. Within the company, she has been a champion for bringing more women into the industry. Women represent 38% of Kilauea’s work force and 43% of upper management. Ashley has also facilitated the growth of women in business locally by leading the Hawaii Chapter of the Professional Women in Pest Management in 2019. In less than two years as its first president, Ashley has grown the organization to 60 members and counting.Over the years, Ashley has maintained a continual desire to further her education, both academically and professionally. She currently holds a pest control field representative license from the DCCA and a commercial applicator license from the DOA. Ashley’s current academic goals are to acquire the prestigious Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) designation and complete her MBA.
