Matriculate has the goal of connecting high-achieving, lower-income high school students with trained college students to act as a mentor to their college process virtually.-Mentors 2 high school students with the goal of building a personal connection and advocating for college to be more accessible by introducing them to scholarships such as Questbridge, Gates Scholarship, and Posse-Utilize and expand my knowledge in guiding high schoolers on application essay writing, building college lists, letters of recommendation, and the financial aid process

An organization that provides a home away from home for families and their kids who often have different types of cancers, in need of blood transfusions, the removal of tumors, and other life-threatening diseases. This is done through equipping families with free housing, meals, and activities within the facility.-Served and led daily dinner distributions for a minimum of 50 families-Participated in administrative work through checking in and out families, logging hours of volunteers, coordinating bus pickups from UCSF Benioff Hospital -Collaborated with directors to discover ways to help families feel comfortable in their new environment-Guided up to 20 individual and group volunteers in serving meals, cooking/baking activities, and product distribution-Organized arts and crafts classes to build a stronger sense of community after COVID
