Joined the Nine13sports team in April of 2014 with a desire to use my background as an educator in local schools to better align Nine13sports curriculum with education standards set by the State. My role has expanded beyond that, and my daily drive has helped propel programs to where we are at today. Serving as Chief Operations Officer, I oversee program creation, development, implementation, and daily operations of our many program lines throughout central Indiana. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, our mission of using the bicycle as an educational tool was put on hold. I led the company in a mission pivot - using our assets and manpower - resulting in a home food delivery program in partnership with local food banks to get food directly to the doorstep of people in need, free of charge. I created and implemented the processes and procedures needed to deliver food to over 1500 homes per week will 8 staff members and 4 delivery teams. Being the leader of the delivery teams, I also serve as the point of contact for not only our internal team, but also the call center and the clients we serve.To date, we have delivered over 10 million pounds of food to Marion County residents.When it became safe to do so, we restarted our bicycle programming, and continued food delivery, creating Nine13 Logistics.

Being part of the Community Events department at Sun King has allowed me to become connected to many nonprofits and fundraising events around Central Indiana. While I spent a few years working in the event space, my current role is more customer facing - giving tours of the downtown facility and teaching customers about how the product is created in a fun and engaging way.

As a 5-12 Band Director I managed the instrumental music program at the high school, as well as two surrounding elementary schools. This created a feeder system to continue to grow the instrumental music program. Prior to my position at the high school level, I taught grades 4-6 band and orchestra at 5 elementary schools as part of the VH1 Save the Music Foundation grant.
