I am passionate about increasing access to justice and advocating for resilient communities and have a demonstrated history of over a decade of working in civil legal aid. My career in legal aid has led me to serve communities across Northern Nevada and throughout King County in Washington State through multiple nonprofit organizations. While I have experience in a variety of civil issues, I have spent most of my career advocating for low-income tenants. I am a member in good standing of the Washington State Bar and strive to be an active member of my community. I currently serve as a member on the WSBA Small Town and Rural Practice Committee and am the Vice President of the Washington Alpine Club. I have previously held positions as a Trustee for the Washington State Bar Foundation, the Northern Nevada CLE Committee Chair for the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Nevada, and as Vice President of the Great Sacramento Chapter of the Washington State University Alumni Association. I received a Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Washington State University, and an additional Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science from Washington State University. I am currently enrolled in classes part time to receive a Master's in Public Administration from Seattle University.When I am not working, I enjoy spending time hiking and exploring outside and successfully completed a 2,650-mile hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail in 2021.
