Balla holds over 8 years of experience as a venture capitalist. With a specific focus on Future of Families, Consumer Fintech and Consumer Healthcare, Balla is deeply passionate about identifying and collaborating with exceptional entrepreneurs and teams who are driving innovation and building technology companies that will revolutionize our way of life, experiences, connectivity, and communication for future generations. Among Halogen's impressive portfolio of over 70 companies are Babylist, Ellevest, the Skimm, Binti, The Flex Company, Squad (acquired by Twitter), Eloquii (sold to Walmart), and This is L (sold to P&G), among others.Balla possesses a profound understanding and hands-on experience in guiding early-stage founders in building their companies from the ground up. Additionally, Balla serves on the Board of Kentucky based Inked Brands and is a board observer at StyleRow, a Los Angeles-based company. She is a leading advocate for diversification in venture capital and actively contributes to creating a more inclusive playing field.
