Ashley will be a part of the Expedition Team during the In the Footsteps of Roald Amundsen journey from Greenland to Alaska. She will attend as a cultural interpreter, providing lessons on Inuit knowledge, history, and resilience as well as providing workshop experiences in various art medias.

Ashley ensures that Northern perspectives are continually involved in any decision-making at North in Focus. She also runs the alumni and ambassador programs while leading workshop and program planning.

Ashley led cultural tours of the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre. Her hour-long tours led visitors through the history of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation as well as the unique art exhibits at the Cultural Centre. In addition, Ashley assisted he various events held at the Cultural Centre, such as the month-long Canada 150 celebration “Dań Kwanje 'Á-Nààn: Voices Across the Water“ and the annual Adäka Cultural Festival. Ashley worked directly with the public, answering any questions between Canada’s Indigenous people’s history and local events with ease.
