As a student affairs practitioner and higher education administrator by training, I believe in supporting and challenging our teacher candidates to think deeply about themselves and their context within communities. I currently work as a manager in academic affairs within the College of Education and Social Work at West Chester University. I am a white cisgender woman with roots in Central Pennsylvania as a first-generation college student who recently earned a Doctorate in Education – Policy, Planning, and Administration.
