As a lead facilitator specializing in inclusive leadership practices, Ashley has delivered over 300 virtual and in-person behavioral science-based workshops to learners at companies around the globe, including clients on the FTSE100 and S&P100. Her biggest passion is creating environments where individuals from all backgrounds and with all kinds of beautifully intersecting identities can feel valued for their uniqueness and welcomed with a sincere sense of belonging. She facilitates energetic and supportive exchange, deepening the connection between content and the groups' specific challenges. Ashley is a Lead Coach for MindGym, previously working for the global non-profit Catalyst and serving as a workshop facilitator for the National Association of Minority Speakers. She completed her undergraduate work at UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2014, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies (Chinese) and Romance Languages (Spanish). She went on to complete her graduate work at the Wake Forest School of Business in May 2016, receiving her Master of Arts in Management. Ashley holds a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.Her facilitation doesn’t reside solely in the corporate learning and development space. Ashley’s a regular speaker for the Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce’s “Cultivando Talento” (“Cultivating Talent”) program, which is aimed at increasing economic mobility, developing talent, and creating a social safety net for Hispanic/Latinx youth in the community. She facilitates forums for the Charlotte Center for the Humanities and Civic Imagination, and also volunteers with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library as a "Reading Buddy,” creating a safe space where students can practice, learn, and have fun. In her free time, Ashley practices improv with the Comedy Arts Theater of Charlotte.
