I’m a passionate designer, currently working as a Design Coordinator II in Healthcare Architecture, and I’m eager to transition into Product and Visual Design.Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I decided to attend school out-of-state. I went to Washington State University where I studied architecture and received my Bachelors in 2018 and Masters in 2019. I also had the pleasure of studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. Experiencing Europe helped broaden my appreciation for different cultures and the impact architecture has on their environment. I particularly enjoyed taking sketching tours in Athens, Greece and Rome, Italy.Architecture has taught me how to grow through design, but it is not where my passion ends. Becoming me, I have always embraced all aspects of being creative. From teaching myself how to paint & sketch, placing 3rd in a homeless shelter design competition, and being a lead technical assistant in a research lab, I have always dared to push myself and see where my artistry can take me. In my professional history, I've had the opportunity to develop a workbook and lead a training course for clients to learn design processes and the application of Revit software. I enjoy creativity in the digital and physical space because of the human connections people form through design. I thrive in creating purposeful environments, and I’m ready to channel that energy into crafting impactful products that are human-centered, synthesizing empathy and technical design.Outside of work, I enjoy traveling (favorite country visited is Japan), food and wine adventures, sake tasting, baking, days at the beach, drawing, painting, planning trips, listening to music, and celebrating my culture.
