• I worked as a Reliability Engineer responsible for the maintenance of chutes in Fixed Plant at Mount Whaleback mine in Newman. Key responsibilities were as follows:
• Managed maintenance of all chutes and bins on site. Maintenance budget in excess of $50 million.
• Identified chute cost saving initiatives. For FY18 this is valued at approximately $1.05 million.
• Implemented measures to improve data capture and reporting from maintenance work conducted.
• Lead a team of contractors on innovative chute upgrades to extend shutdown frequencies from 14 weeks to 20 weeks. Project portfolio value approximately $3.5 million.
• Implemented a high number of improvements initiatives on assets including the Gulf Chute, M214 chute, Shuttle 702 lumps, Train Load Out.

• I worked as a Reliability Engineer at the Beneficiation Plant at Mount Whaleback mine in Newman. Key responsibilities were as follows:
• Extended experience in strategy development and defect elimination for Crushers, Vibrating Screens, Pumps, Conveyor equipment and other processing equipment.
• Analysing plant production data and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Monitored and controlled preventative maintenance work to ensure schedule adherence was followed. Weekly report conducted and findings presented and actioned.
• Implemented and reviewed SAP master data changes to maintenance strategies for fixed plant equipment. Identified and addressed inconsistencies in SAP master data.
• Developed, planned and implemented shutdown work scopes.

• I worked as a reliability engineer in fixed plant maintenance at Mt Whaleback Hub in Newman optimising and simplifying maintenance strategies and improving plant availability. Key responsibilities included:
• Development of maintenance strategies for the Secondary Crusher. Engagement with maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure correct tasklists and frequencies are assigned to major maintenance work.
• Worked with condition monitoring technicians to simplify the maintenance routes associated with the vibration analysis of equipment.
• Performed weekly analysis on work management metrics to ensure compliance to work plans and also identify improvement opportunities for maintenance strategies.
• Mechanical Graduate Representative for the Iron Ore Engineering Technical Forum Committee. Received an award for the success of the forum and the way in which it was organised and executed.

Port Hedland

• My experience in Port Hedland was rotated between two roles. I spent my first seven months in the Port Engineering team providing technical and design solutions across site to other working groups on various projects..
• Performed random delay analysis on plant to identify and implement improvement initiatives. Numerous improvements trialed and successfully implemented.
• Performed equipment strategy reviews and failure analysis to improve plant availability.
• One project included increasing the Car Dumper tip limit to improve cycle time. The team was able to design and install a successful solution that improved cycle time.
• Worked within the Port Engineering team as a design engineer providing a service to maintenance across site.
• Delivered a number of projects including Car Dumper Limit Redesign, Reclaimer Bogie Wheel Jacking Stand, Berth Stairwell Guarding, and Rip Switch Installation on a problematic Reclaimer Conveyor yard belt.

Port Hedland

• I worked in the Inflow Maintenance Department in a shutdown environment working to improve the safety and reliability of the plant. Key responsibilities included:
• Managed and delivered a project to be installed in a shutdown of Car Dumper 2 within a 3 month period.
